The internship
At Landal, no day is the same in the department. You will intern within Operations Support, the department responsible for managing and developing Landal’s Food & Beverage and Retail formulas at parks in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Denmark. Your main focus will be Food & Beverage, while you will also support the Retail team when needed. The internship combines analysis, daily operational support, coordination and project-based work.
What you will do
- Analyse the results of hospitality formulas and help update menus.
- Work on the development of menus and hospitality concepts.
- Contribute to F&B pricing strategies and the implementation of new hospitality concepts and innovations.
- Support renovation and construction projects at hospitality locations.
- Work with formula specialists to provide daily support to parks and answer their questions through the central support portal.
- Answer park questions about changes in the Retail assortment when needed.
You will contribute to the team’s everyday work, regularly join meetings with colleagues or suppliers, and independently work on sub-projects. Depending on your day and planning, you may work at the office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam, from home or at a park. The stated work location is the Amsterdam office. For a fulltime internship, Landal would like you to work at least 3 days per week at the office.
Who Landal is looking for
Landal is looking for an enthusiastic 3/4e-jaars student, preferably with some hospitality experience from a part-time job or previous internship. You are organised, independent and proactive, with strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; German is an advantage. You are also a real team player, curious, alert to opportunities for improvement and interested in project-based work.
What Landal offers
- An internship allowance of €500,- gross per month.
- Good supervision and room to make a real impact.
- Flexibility to work at the office and from home.
- Space for an internship assignment.
- A start date agreed together and an agreed number of internship days.
- A fulltime internship is 38 hours per week, equal to an internship week of 5 days. If you intern fewer than 5 days per week, the internship allowance and vacation day are calculated proportionally.
