As a domestic help in Amsterdam, you help provide a clean and pleasant home for your clients. This is work where you make a real contribution. The hourly wage is €15,07.
What you do as a domestic help
- You provide domestic help, such as cleaning the living room, kitchen and bathroom.
- You chat with the client. If your client is not doing well, let us know.
- You work for clients near you.
- You decide when you work. This can be from Monday to Friday between 08.30 and 17.00.

You receive a contract under the CAO VVT. As a domestic help, you also receive:
- Gross hourly wage of €15,07, with a salary increase each year up to a maximum of €18,27 per hour.
- Bicycle allowance of €1,41 net per working day and travel-time compensation between clients.
- 33 holiday days per year.
- 8% holiday allowance and a thirteenth month.
