Sales Assistant – Full-time

GAMMA is looking for a full-time sales assistant at its Amsterdam-Slotervaart branch. You help customers with DIY questions, advise them on products and ensure the store is tidy. You learn every day about materials and tools and build valuable work experience, even without previous experience.

What you will do

• Advise customers about products and applications.
• Learn about materials and tools to keep improving your advice.
• Keep the store neat and well organised.
• Work with colleagues to put the customer first and make the store even more profitable.
• Think about how to improve each day.

What you bring

• Retail or construction experience is an advantage, but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and an interest in customer contact and teamwork for a better result.
• An active attitude: asking questions and listening carefully to really help.
• Some commercial drive.
• Command of the Dutch language and the ability to keep agreements.
• Flexible availability during the day, in the evening and/or at weekends, by agreement.
