The role

At AH to go in the IJhal at Amsterdam Centraal, thousands of travellers are in a hurry but still expect quick, good service. Nederlandse Spoorwegen seeks senior sales assistants who are confident, stay calm under pressure, take action and enjoy making customers happy. You combine bakery and service work in a varied role where the pace is high and no day is the same.

Everyday tasks

• Serve customers quickly, including with a freshly filled sandwich.
• Bake croissants when they are sold out.
• Restock shelves and keep the shop neat, from unloading deliveries to facing products.

Your availability

Your schedule is flexible and agreed with the manager. From Monday to Wednesday, the early shift starts at 05:00 and can run until 01:00 at the latest. From Thursday to Sunday, the shop is open 24/7, with possible night shifts. A shift lasts no more than 8 hours. You must be at least 18 because of the hours and duties. The diverse team includes Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues. You must be able to reach the location within 30 minutes without public transport, as it does not always run early in the morning or late in the evening.
