About the internship
When you think of holidays, you think of Landal. From its headquarters in Amsterdam, Landal works every day to improve procurement and operational processes and supplier relationships, with attention to sustainability, efficiency and quality. As a Procurement & Process Optimisation intern, you will join the Procurement team under the guidance of Nonet, Procurement Manager IT. You will support the analysis and optimisation of procurement processes, tools and contract administration, with a strong focus on data reliability and change management.
This internship gives you practical experience with procurement software implementation, contract management and supplier renewals. One of the tools involved is Intake-to-Procure (I2P), a digital point of entry for all procurement requests so that they can be handled more quickly, transparently and according to the same rules.
Your activities
You will work directly on operational and IT-related procurement projects. Your work will include mapping and analysing processes, improving documentation and helping to build Landal’s contract repository. Depending on project progress, you may also support the selection, implementation or introduction of the I2P tool.
- Analyse and map procurement processes across different departments and holiday parks.
- Write and document processes, including proposals for improvement and optimisation.
- Support change-management activities involving systems or workflows, for example when new tools, systems or workflows are introduced.
- Prepare dashboards and reports that make performance, spend and impact visible.
- Advise the Procurement team based on your analyses.
- Monitor contract terms and, under supervision, independently handle smaller renewals or contract extensions.
- Monitor ESG-related KPIs and help develop sustainable procurement initiatives.
Who you are
You are analytical and organised, enjoy working with software and processes, and are willing to pick up the phone or contact internal stakeholders and suppliers. You are following an hbo or wo programme in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or Logistics & Operations. You are comfortable with systems and tools such as Excel and P2P/ERP software and enjoy learning new software quickly. You work accurately when recording contract information, can see where a process gets stuck, and think in practical solutions. The vacancy asks for availability of 32 to 38 hours per week for 6 months, starting in February 2027.
