What you will do
At ASA Talent, you gain real B2B sales experience during your studies, work mostly from home and speak directly with decision-makers at interesting companies in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, you start as an appointment setter in business development, with flexible hours (6–20 hours per week) and an hourly wage from €17.
Why this role may suit you
You build a strong foundation for a career in business development or sales while combining the job with your studies or other commitments. You learn to work with CRM systems, improve your conversation and persuasion skills and discover different B2B sectors. You receive responsibility for your own projects and can see directly how your efforts lead to concrete appointments and results.
At this fast-growing Amsterdam scale-up, you can develop step by step from starter to full-fledged business developer. You receive guidance, feedback on your conversations and the opportunity to develop into a specialist for certain clients or sectors. This helps you build a CV that future employers in sales, marketing or account management can value.
Your activities as an Appointment Setter
- Lead follow-up and cold acquisition: You call cold and warm B2B leads daily, ask focused questions, identify needs and schedule qualified appointments for your clients’ sales teams.
- Relationship building and communication: You speak with managers and directors, listen carefully, respond to their situation and provide professional, clear follow-up by phone, email and sometimes LinkedIn.
- CRM and administration management: You carefully update your conversations in the CRM system and record appointments, notes and next steps so campaigns can be measured and results reported clearly.
- Campaign analysis and identifying opportunities: You examine which target groups and messages work well, share insights with colleagues and help make campaigns smarter and more effective.
- Planning and self-organisation: You plan your own flexible working hours within office hours, monitor your targets and maintain a good balance between calling, preparation and administration.
