Kiosk Sales Assistant – Amsterdam Zuid & RAI (Morning)

As a Kiosk Sales Assistant at Nederlandse Spoorwegen, you run your own shop at the station and help travellers quickly and kindly. You prepare coffee and sandwiches, refill shelves and refrigerators, finish baking croissants, serve warm snacks and keep the Kiosk neat and inviting.

Your schedule is flexible and agreed with the branch manager. You are available in the morning from 05:00 and at least one weekend day. Station Amsterdam Zuid is opening 3 new shops from November. The minimum age for this location is 18 years, and you work with Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues. Dutch at level B1 is required.

For employees aged 21 or older, the pay is € 14,99 gross per hour, excluding any allowances. For employees younger than 21, the youth wage under the hospitality collective labour agreement applies. Other terms include additional conditions above the collective agreement, the possibility of a permanent contract after 7 months, a fixed number of hours per week with flexible shifts, up to 60% discount at various station shops, and possible travel-cost support up to €10,50 per day from 10 km. Parking costs are not reimbursed and there are no fixed parking spaces unless otherwise indicated.

You may combine work and learning through an MBO level 3 or 4 BBL course. An induction programme includes a buddy system and onboarding app. The vacancy states that you must be able to reach the location within 30 minutes without public transport.
