About the role

At the Kiosk of Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), you run almost your own shop on the station platform or in the central hall. You prepare coffee and sandwiches, finish baking croissants and prepare warm snacks, help customers quickly and kindly at the counter, restock shelves and refrigerators, and keep the Kiosk neat and inviting. You also check all 13 vending machines, refill them as needed and monitor which products need to be ordered.

Availability and requirements
Your schedule is flexible and agreed with the manager. You must be available at least on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to open at 05:30 and close at 22:15. A shift lasts a maximum of 8 hours. You must be at least 18 years old because of the working hours and duties. You work with a diverse team of Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues. Dutch at B1 level is required.

What Nederlandse Spoorwegen offers

• If you are 21 or older, you earn € 14,99 gross per hour, excluding any allowances. If you are younger than 21, the youth wage under the hospitality collective labour agreement applies.
