About the internship

Landal is looking for a Commercial Services intern for its office in Amsterdam. From this office, Landal works on creating memorable holiday experiences for guests. As a commercial support intern, you will join a creative, varied team and support the development, implementation and maintenance of formulas used at the parks. This includes concepts for Front Office, Fun & Entertainment, park signage and workwear. Your contribution helps parks present a recognisable Landal experience, from reception through recreation.

Your role

Within Commercial Services, you will contribute to varied projects that support the quality and guest experience at the parks. Work is organised around projects and involves colleagues, suppliers and park teams. The internship also leaves room to develop and work out your own ideas. Your activities can include:

• Communicating with parks and suppliers.
• Supporting teams at the parks through Parksupport.
• Contributing to projects involving concept development and formula implementation.
• Preparing analyses such as target-group analyses, benchmarks and monthly reports.
• Identifying opportunities for new concepts or improvements at the parks.
• Carrying out your school assignment.

What you bring

You are an enthusiastic, creative student who wants to learn in the leisure industry. You enjoy variety, teamwork and taking initiative. Landal asks for an hbo programme, for example Leisure Management, Commercial Economics, Marketing, Hotel Management or Event Management, or another relevant programme. You should be available from February 2027 or earlier, be creative, entrepreneurial and a strong communicator, and have an affinity with Fun & Entertainment and guest experience. Experience with MS Office and Excel is required, as are good spoken and written Dutch and English. You must be available for at least 4 days per week (32 hours) for 5/6 months.

The package includes an internship allowance of € 500,- gross per month based on full-time availability, space to complete your school assignment, one day of leave per month of the internship, and access through Learnit! to more than 150 online courses about professional skills and personal development. Landal also states a travel reimbursement of € 0,23 per kilometre if you do not have a student OV, flexible working hours, the possibility of working from home occasionally and fresh fruit at the office. A full-time internship is 38 hours per week, equal to a 5-day internship week. If you do an internship for fewer than 5 days per week, the internship allowance and leave day are calculated pro rata.
