Through Brandstof, you will work as a student employee at KinderRijk and gain relevant experience in childcare alongside your studies. You will work at different locations in Amsterdam and Amstelveen and help create a pleasant, safe environment where children can develop.

You will support toddlers with new discoveries and organise sports and creative activities for after-school care. You will learn from experienced professionals while developing your own skills.

  • Work at and alternate between different KinderRijk locations in Amsterdam and Amstelveen.

Who you are

  • You are following a relevant higher professional education programme, such as Pedagogy, PABO or SPH, and have been admitted to the third year with at least 50% of your study credits, or you have a qualifying mbo-3 or mbo-4 childcare diploma.
  • You are available for at least 12 hours per week.
  • You are comfortable travelling between the different locations in Amsterdam and Amstelveen.
  • You have the ‘Working with Babies’ certificate if you want to work at a day-care centre, or you are motivated to obtain it.
