Your availability

Are you looking to earn extra money alongside secondary school? We are looking for sales assistants for Julia's Amsterdam Zuid. The station shops are easy to reach, and you can work a shift before going home. You work in a friendly team and determine your own flexible working hours. In addition to a good salary, you receive a discount card for snacks and drinks during your shift or while travelling.

This location has a diverse team of Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues.

When will you work?

We are looking for new employees for the following shifts: 06:00 - 11:00 / 11:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 00:00 hours.

Your work as a sales assistant

At Julia's, everything revolves around energy and hospitality. While trains arrive and depart, you prepare fresh pasta in the kitchen, make latte art or quickly help a traveller with a freshly prepared sandwich. Together with your colleagues, you make sure everyone catches their train with a smile.

Always active, always sociable
The station is hard work, but it is also fun. You become part of a close team where hard work and a good atmosphere go hand in hand. A joke along the way and a compliment about your latte art are part of the job.

What we offer

• If you are 21 years or older, you earn € 14,99 gross per hour, excluding any allowances. If you are younger than 21 years, the youth wage under the hospitality collective labour agreement applies.
• Additional employment conditions on top of the collective labour agreement
• The possibility of receiving a permanent contract after 7 months
• A fixed number of hours per week, with flexible shifts rather than a nine-to-five job
• The dynamics of the station and friendly colleagues
• Up to 60% discount at various shops at the station
• Possible contribution towards travel expenses up to a maximum of €10,50 per day from 10 km. Parking costs are not reimbursed and there are no permanent parking spaces unless stated otherwise.
• If you want to combine learning and working at MBO level 3 or 4, you may be able to follow a BBL programme. More information is available on the training page.
