Internship and team

Starting in January 2027, Landal offers an HBO communication work placement in the Content department (17) at its office in Amsterdam Amstel. You will become a full member of the team and work with content specialists and editors in a young, dynamic and friendly working environment, with appropriate guidance. The internship gives you a broad introduction to communication within an e-commerce environment and involves online communication for the different Landal brands.

Landal’s website content is an important gateway to a holiday. Texts and images therefore need to be accurate and clearly reflect Landal. Typos, changed park features or an unsuitable photograph can distract from the message. Your attention to detail helps ensure that customers receive the right information at the right time and feel at home from their first visit to the website. The work also contributes to the user experience on international Landal websites and the app platform.

What you will do

  • Keep website and app content current and correct.
  • Answer questions and requests from the parks and colleagues in other departments, and think along about ways to place content as completely and effectively as possible.
  • Support improvements to the websites and apps by collecting information, adapting, writing or checking short texts, contributing to SEO improvements and selecting images for publication.
  • Support the content specialists and editors by editing and generating content for online promotions and different channels.
  • Contribute to larger content projects, including the optimisation of park pages, SEO optimisation and other content initiatives.
  • Coordinate translations for visitors to the German, Danish, English and French-language websites.

You will work extensively in the website CMS and also use other systems, including the image bank. The position therefore combines careful checking with practical content production. You may need to compare information, check whether a park characteristic or image is still correct, and make sure that the final content is complete before it is published.

Who Landal is looking for

The preferred intern is an independent and proactive HBO student, preferably studying Communication, Journalism, Creative Business, Commercial Economics, Leisure Management or Tourism. You have an interest in working with different systems, such as a CMS and systems used to manage product data and images. You are comfortable taking action and enjoy keeping several tasks moving at the same time. Accuracy, language ability and a good feel for both text and images are important. Landal asks for a good command of Dutch and English and experience with Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook. You are also asked to provide a short explanation of why you would like to intern in this department and/or at Landal.

What Landal offers

  • A gross internship allowance of € 500,- per month based on full-time availability.
  • Room to carry out your internship assignment.
  • Extensive online training and development opportunities through Learnit!, with more than 150 learnings focused on professional skills and personal development.
  • Use of different facilities at the parks, such as a swimming pool, miniature golf course or bowling alley.
  • Travel reimbursement of € 0,23 per kilometre if you do not have a student public transport pass, starting from 5 km for a one-way journey.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of occasionally working from home.
  • Fresh fruit at the office.

A full-time internship is 38 hours per week, equivalent to an internship week of 5 days. If you attend the internship for fewer than 5 days per week, the internship allowance and holiday day are calculated proportionally.
