Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday; workdays are agreed in consultation.
What will you do?
As a parcel delivery driver, you start your working day at the sorting centre. You check your route, load the van and place the parcels logically so you can quickly find the right parcel on the way.
You then set off. You deliver parcels to people’s homes and businesses. You are the face of PostNL and help provide the reliable delivery moment customers count on.
You work during the day and spend approximately 7 to 8 hours on the road. You drive few kilometres and get in and out of your van frequently. The work is active and takes place largely outdoors.
At the end of your shift, you return to the sorting centre, hand in the van and return parcels you could not deliver.
What do you bring?
You can work independently, are reliable and like helping your colleagues. You remain calm during busy periods and setbacks and represent PostNL with a positive attitude.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have a valid car driving licence that allows you to drive in the Netherlands and at least 3 months of driving experience.
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
- You are fit and strong enough to lift both light and heavy parcels.
- You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
What do we offer?
- A 7-month contract. If you perform well, you may then receive a permanent contract.
- A salary of € 2.557 per month, based on a full-time workweek. This is an hourly wage of € 14,99. Including holiday allowance, this is € 16,19 per hour. Holiday allowance is paid annually in May. In addition, you receive a 40% allowance for hours worked on Saturday.
