At Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), you work at Julia's as a sales assistant, barista and Italian cook. You prepare espresso, cappuccino, oven-baked sandwiches and fresh pasta, while helping travellers quickly and with a smile.

Your availability
Your schedule is flexible and agreed with the manager. You must be able to open from 05:30, or from 07:00 on weekends. A shift lasts a maximum of 8 hours. In October, this location will undergo a major renovation into a larger, renewed shop. Before then, you will be partly trained at Utrecht so you can start confidently in the new shop.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is confident and enjoys leading a team. Because of the work and because you may sometimes work alone, you must be 18 years or older. You will work with a diverse team of Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues.

What will you do at Julia's?
Attention is central to the work, both for travellers and for colleagues.

  • Prepare a fresh cappuccino, bake sandwiches and prepare fresh pasta for travellers catching their train
  • Clean your workspace so you can work hygienically
  • Help customers quickly and kindly at the counter
