Intern Recruitment Consultant

What you will do Would you like to truly experience what it is like to work in recruitment during your HBO internship in HR or business administration, right in the heart of Amsterdam and easily accessible by public transport?

At ASA Talent, you will work as an Intern Consultant as part of an informal, professional team that connects talent with great employers. You will work in the office, within walking distance of the train, metro, tram and bus, and receive an internship allowance of € 500 per month for full-time work, with flexible hours (32-40 hours per week).

You will discover the entire recruitment process in practice: from vacancy to placement. You will immediately apply what you learn in your HR, business administration or psychology studies and receive intensive guidance, so you quickly develop your skills in interviewing techniques, selection and stakeholder management. As you become more independent, you will also have more client contact and responsibility.

In addition, there is plenty of room to ask questions, contribute ideas about improvements and try out your own ideas. This way, you will build a solid foundation for a future role in HR, recruitment or talent development.

Your duties as an Intern Consultant:

• Recruitment and selection:
• You write vacancy texts, actively search for candidates, screen CVs and conduct telephone intakes to determine whether someone is a good fit for the position and client.
• Candidate contact:
• You are in daily contact with candidates by phone and email, keep them informed of progress and guide them through the application process.
• Process improvement:
• You contribute ideas on how work processes can be made smarter and faster and put forward ideas for new ways to find talent.
• Content and campaigns:
• You help prepare vacancy emails and short campaign texts, so vacancies stand out to the right target audience.
• Client relationships:
• You work with experienced consultants, gradually begin sitting in on client conversations and learn how to properly align the needs of clients and candidates.

What we ask of you You are an eager-to-learn HBO student who wants to discover recruitment and HR in practice and enjoys actively contributing to an informal, professional team.

• You are an HBO student in HRM, Business Administration or Psychology.
• You have strong communication skills in telephone and email contact with candidates.
• You are proactive, independent and take responsibility for your tasks.
• You are interested in recruitment, selection, talent development and client contact.
• You are available at least four days per week in Amsterdam.
