As a transport employee in Amsterdam, you have a dynamic and versatile job. You work between 16 and 30 hours per week in various shifts, both during the day and in the evenings or at night. The atmosphere is positive, and you work together with colleagues in a team. You will be well trained so that you can quickly start working independently. On an average workday, you start by sorting and preparing orders. You ensure that all goods are placed on the correct pallets. Is a pallet full? Then you secure it and start on the next one. Sometimes you work in the expedition, sometimes at the refrigerator, or you help set up return bins. You walk a lot, lift boxes, and work accurately. In the evening, you help with setting up routes or loading trucks. You also sometimes work as a circle sorter and ensure with your team that all incoming pallets are processed correctly. You have variety and quickly learn new tasks. This job is ideal if you are physically fit and enjoy working together. You get the chance to grow, for example, by obtaining a truck certificate. What Timing offers
• Starting salary of €15.14 per hour; • Travel allowance from 10 km or full public transport reimbursement; • Working days from Monday to Friday, always free on weekends; • Flexible working hours, 16-30 hours per week; • Working hours between 9:00 - 3:00, with most shifts between 15:00 - 3:00; • You accrue holiday pay and hours; • Weekly payment via Timing; • Training and growth opportunities, such as a truck certificate.
Requirements
• You are 18 years or older; • You are physically fit and willing to do lifting work; • You can apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG); • You enjoy working in a team and show initiative; • You are available at least 3 days a week, also in the afternoon and night until 03:00; • You have your own transport for night shifts.
