An authentic and cherished Italian restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam, serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine to families of all ages since 1978. With cosy indoor seating for 60 guests and an additional 50 seats on their charming terrace during the summer, they provide an authentic dining experience in a picturesque square with a cosy vibe.
Shifts:
The restaurant is open every day of the week. They open for guests at 17:00 and close at 22:00 during the week and 23:00 on the weekend.
Evening shifts typically start at 15:30, with flexibility based on demand and end time often aligning with closing hours.
Pay & Benefits:
Staff members can expect tips and bonuses ranging from €20 to €50 per shift, translating to approximately €2,5 to €6 per hour in tips.
Complimentary team dinners are provided, including pasta, salads, pizza, sandwiches, and more.
Hourly wage depends on age and experience.
Current Team:
The diverse team of around 30 individuals includes international kitchen staff from Italy and Venezuela and a close-knit, youthful floor team primarily composed of students. Some team members have been with them for over a decade, reflecting their enjoyable work environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
Bar Staff:
Experience in hospitality, particularly bartending/barista roles.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Proactive, social, and hardworking attitude.
Minimum commitment of at least 2-3 shifts per week.
Team player.
Combined Roles:
Candidates can opt to perform both serving and bar staff duties as needed for each shift.
Job Responsibilities:
Make sure the bar stays organized and clean.
Making fresh coffee & tea.
Handling wine bottles, and pouring drinks.
Tapping beers.
Training:
We seek candidates with prior hospitality experience in serving, bartending, or barista roles. Training will focus on familiarizing candidates with our restaurant’s specific operations.
