Not everyone is suited for the role of hospitality distribution driver, but you don't turn your hand for this! You go from the basement of the pub to the kitchen of the rooftop restaurant to deliver fresh daily products. You provide that little bit of extra service and radiate pleasure in your work. Physical work is no problem for you. Sound good? Read on and contact us quickly!
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Hospitality Distribution Driver, you set out to supply hospitality businesses in your region. Simply put: in the morning (between 05:00 and 07:00) you load the truck with drinks and/or food. At the end of the day, all those beers, wines, steaks, veggie burgers, bake-off rolls, and stir-fry vegetables have reached the right customers. A job in which you constantly run short sprints and have to unload relatively much. But there is a lot in return. Such as happy faces of pub owners, event organizers, and restaurateurs. Thanks to a fixed route, you quickly build a bond with your customers. But perhaps the best part is the opportunity you have to walk around in special hospitality venues and high-profile events!
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
- Driver's license C and a valid Code 95 - not at home, but in your glove compartment
- You are able to perform physically heavy work
- Working occasionally on a Saturday is no problem for you!
- You can plan well and understand how important it is that your route is completed
- You enjoy hitting the road independently or together with varying co-drivers
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
We invest in you in countless ways. This starts with a fair salary according to the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Food Wholesale. But that's not all. With us, you also get the 'extras', such as personal attention and sincere appreciation. Moreover, we strive to invest in your future. How do we do that? As a driver at Logistic Force, we ensure you stay up-to-date with training for Code 95. And if you have the ambition to grow into more challenging tasks, we are ready to support you. Want to get started quickly? Respond quickly, we are waiting for YOU.
Good to know before applying
Working as a distribution driver in Amsterdam requires navigating busy city streets, historic canals, and tight delivery spots. Since shifts start early in the morning between 05:00 and 07:00, you should check if public transport is running from your student housing or if you need a bicycle or scooter to reach the Logistic Force hub. This early schedule is highly compatible with afternoon or evening university lectures at the UvA or VU. Be sure to verify the specific Dutch language and license requirements in the original listing, as navigating local client interactions in Amsterdam's hospitality sector is key.
