What will you do?

Do you like working in hospitality or service and do you get energy from contact with people? At Jack's Casino, you work in a dynamic environment where no day is the same. As a host or hostess, you are the point of contact for our guests and ensure a welcoming, energetic atmosphere on the floor. You switch effortlessly between service, maintaining an overview, and creating an experience that guests love to return for. Together with your colleagues, you make every shift special.

This is what you will do

In this role, you combine hospitality, service, and responsibility. You are continuously in contact with guests, ensure a great atmosphere, and meanwhile keep an overview of the gaming floor. No shift is the same, and that variety is exactly what makes the work so fun.

• Host/hostess: You receive and guide guests and make sure they feel welcome.
• Hospitality: You serve drinks and small dishes.
• Host: You explain games, actions, and promotions.
• Sharp: You supervise the gaming floor and signal irregularities.
• Handy: You resolve minor malfunctions on the machines, refill them, and pay them out.
• Eye for detail: You ensure everything runs smoothly and neatly.

This is you

Your winning combination looks like this:

• A true host or hostess;
• Experience in hospitality, service, or retail is a plus, but not a requirement;
• Flexible; evening shifts (our casino is open from 10:00 to 00:00) and weekends are part of the job;
• Command of the Dutch language is required for the position;
• Applying for a VOG (Certificate of Conduct) is part of the procedure.

This is what we offer

• Starting salary of €2,609 gross per month on a full-time basis;
• A gross hourly wage of €15.05 gross per hour;
• A part-time contract (8 to 16 hours per week), hours in consultation;
• Earn extra with allowances: 50% after 01:00, 100% on public holidays;
• 8% holiday allowance and 25 holiday days;
• 2 extra holiday days when you have not been sick;
• Travel allowance from 10 km (€0.23/km, max. 30 km one way);
• Growth opportunities to Senior Staff Member, Floor Manager, or Casino Manager (online);

A full-time employment contract at JVH gaming & entertainment is based on 40 hours per week.
